    Essex has offered a Wellness program to employees for over 7 years. In 2018, the company expanded the program offering and launched Vitality, a comprehensive and interactive wellness platform that tracks and records healthy behavior. Vitality allows users to earn reward points and credit toward lowering their individual medical premiums for the upcoming year.

    Essex is committed to employee health and safety by offering an Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP). The IIPP works in conjunction with the essential components of our Company safety policy. A comprehensive policy that states, for example, that every associate is obliged to report any unsafe condition or accident so that prompt corrective actions can be taken. Associates may not undertake a job or operate (heavy) machinery until he/she is informed properly and has received authorization to carry out the work. Additionally, any work-related injury or illness sustained by a colleague, resident, vendor, or guest must be reported immediately to a manager.
